Hi Todd, We are Canadians who purchased furniture from Norwood to furnish a vacation home we had built. Our sales representative from Sunland Springs, Cyndy Camomile, recommended we take a look at your place when we inquired as to where to shop. I am happy to report that we had truly exceptional service from Kevin Moore, who was a pleasure to deal with from both a personality and customer service perspective. Kevin worked very hard for us and followed through on every promise and was also incredibly prompt in responding to any questions. We have taken delivery of one bedroom suite (one more to follow this weekend) and were also extremely impressed with your delivery personnel. Having purchased from other stores as well, it is evident that Norwood Furniture is a cut above all the others. The delivery staff was really careful with the furniture, polite and efficient while still taking their time to ensure no damage was done to the home or the purchase. I only wish Norwood had carried a couple of other lines we were looking at as we would have loved to have given you even more of our business. My mattress was delivered yesterday (early!) and all set up. Got to sleep on it last night and OMG what a difference even one night makes. It was wonderful. Awesome. Perfect. And TALL. When I'm sitting on the edge my feet dangle way above the floor. Fortunately my very small dog is very springy and has no problem leaping up. As for me, I loved it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Now I can't wait for my new loveseat and chair.

We moved to Gilbert this past May from the East Coast, but the process of planning the furnishing of our new home started this past Winter. I've made purchases at Norwood in the past and have always had a good experience and been happy with both the quality of the furniture and the overall service but I have to say my most recent experience working with Janet Livingston on refurnishing my family room was by far the best.

Janet worked with me to determine the best furniture layout and designs keeping in mind my taste and style. She came to my house to take measurements and put together ideas on furniture she thought would work best for the space and picked out accessories that she thought would help tie everything together. Everything she suggested was right on.

Janet kept me informed of the status of my order and came back to my house after everything was delivered to help me put it all together.

Janet hit this one out of the park and I couldn't be happier with the end result! I'm looking forward to working with her on my next room redo.
 

Our furniture buying experience at Norwood Furniture was awesome. Not only was our sales personal personable but she was also very helpful when it came to answering all of our questions. She certainly deserved the patience award of the month because I think we looked at every couch and sectional in the showroom. To aide us in our selection, she sent us home with fabric swatches and furniture dimensions. Our sectional is beautiful and is a great compliment to our home. Way to go Nancy.

I would like to tell you of a pleasant purchase experience I had at your store.
I have made several purchases in the past from Norwood Furniture and was very pleased with the customer service that I received.
This most recent experience was exceptional. I asked to be shown an American-made executive chair in leather. Hazelyn Walsh was not able to show me a specific office chair that she had in mind but showed me other chairs made by Bradington-Young so that I could see the quality of workmanship levels we were talking about. I was impressed by what I saw.
While I was roaming your store, I spotted a Bergere chair by Sigla. I purchased that chair and Hazelyn offered her design services for my home, so we set up an appointment time.
Hazelyn then sent me an e-mail with pictures and specifications for the office chair.
My Bergere chair was politely and carefully delivered by Jeremiah and David.
Hazelyn brought the Bradington-Young leather samples to my home to coordinate with the finish of my desk and colors of my home office. Hazelyn graciously answered my many design questions and gave me creative ideas to try that I had never thought of.
We made an in-store appointment where I ordered a Jefferson model Brandington-Young in a lovely rich, dark red in an upgraded leather. At that time Hazelyn gave me a computer generated floor-plan of my living room in a suggested design that was an inspiration.
I returned home and moved my living furniture to mirror the new schema and it looks far better than I could have anticipated.
My office chair will be built and delivered in about ten weeks. It is just what I envisioned and is American made.

We are writing this to share with you our pleasure from our recent purchase there at Norwood Furniture. We initially came in to look for an area rug and happened to sit at a counter height table with stools and were astounded at the comfort. We eventually found one but kept thinking about that table.
When we returned to Norwood we were helped by Nancy Hawk. We arranged an in home consultation. She arrived and helped us with the shape and size of the table making it perfect for our space. She not only helped us with the right color for the top, legs and fabric for the stools but was very knowledgeable regarding product and space planning. We are extremely pleased with the product, the speed of delivery and the wonderful salesmanship of Nancy Hawk.

We would definitely recommend Norwood Furniture, our salesperson, Maria was very knowledgeable and helped us decide on what pieces and colors we needed for our 2 rooms. She pointed us in a direction we never would have chosen ourselves but the results were beautiful and just what we wanted! She even came to our home with the upholstery so we could see for ourselves how the colors went beautifully with what we already had for rugs and tile.

Again, the quality of the product and the service is exceptional!!

We have been a customer of Norwood Furniture for several years. Every couple of months I would walk the entire store looking for just the right concepts for my Living Room. One day I walked in and was greeted by Nancy Hawk. She and I walked the store and this time not only did we find one couch - but two identical couches that were a curved shape and in a beautiful shade of rust.

I asked Nancy if we could have two identical couches in our Living Room. She sat down with me and made a sketch of the room and the couches in a different layout than I had thought would work for that room. once I saw her design, I knew that her concept and placement of the couches were perfect.

Needless to say, we bought the couches, some lamps, and  then we had a consultation with Sheri and had custom draperies made. We were so pleased with the design team of Nancy Hawk and Sheri; they guided us into making our room a place we are proud of and a room that we want to spend time in. We only need one more table and the room will be complete; Nancy has already given us some great options.

Hope you are well. It was nice meeting with you a couple month ago while my wife and I were working with Judyth on a few pieces of furniture. I also wanted to thank you for the gift cards you gave us. After 8 hours of looking through fabric swatches, it was nice not making a decision on where to eat.

Around 6 months ago, we started the furniture hunt for a couple of barren rooms in our new house. After visiting the usual furniture chain stores, we stumbled into Norwood and met Judyth. Within 10 minutes, she showed us a dining room set that fit us perfectly. During the brief time we had, she made quite the impression on both of us. The next week, she visited our home to get a feel for what we had, and what we were trying to accomplish in some additional rooms.

I'm not the type of person who looks forward to furniture shopping all day, but Judyth made the experience enjoyable. She kept the atmosphere light, but kept us focused throughout the day. Before walking into Norwood, I was unaware of the vast quantities of fabric available, and was quite overwhelmed. Judyth was able to quickly navigate through, stopping only at those which would work for our taste. With her knowledge and experience, we were able to select around 13 items, including custom upholstery from our showroom and catalogs in a single day. With a full time job, and two children, this was beyond priceless.

The Monday after we selected everything, Judyth made another trip to our home to ensure the fabric we selected would in fact be complimentary to our existing decor. This was extremely helpful, as she was able to make our final decisions a little less painful.

In short, we couldn't have done it without Judyth and Norwood. We look forward to working with her in the future.

Shasta, we just got back from Sioux Falls after our quickie trip to Phoenix. We both love the rug, table and chairs. What a difference it all makes - each piece adds it's own finishing touch! You did good, kiddo! I am really interested in getting something going for the sliding glass door as far as window treatments go - I really cannot stand those white vertical blinds  - they are an eye sore! I can't remember what exactly we talked about for that, maybe sheers and some drapery?? Let's get our heads together soon regarding that. We will not be back until at least right after new year. Working with Teresa has been a joy! We found everything we needed in one store to make our relocation to Peoria, AZ as easy and exciting as possible. We found the quality of furniture to be excellent.

Over the past several months, I've spend quite a lot of time at Norwood shopping for furniture, accessories and window treatments for my home. I had the good fortune and pleasure to work with Hazelyn as my design consultant.

When friends and family visit my home, they not only admire the beautiful furniture and surroundings, but also comment about how everything is perfectly coordinated. Early on, I realized that I could rely on Hazelyn's expertise and sound judgement to recommend specific furniture, accessories and window treatments that would make my own something special. In this regard, Hazelyn exceeded my expectations.

I also want to thank Norwood's service department, Sometimes, the after-sale service one receives from a store leaves a lot to be desired. This is not the case with Norwood Furniture. When I required in-home service after the sale, the service was prompt and the problem was always corrected to my satisfaction.

Great service by Janet Livingston. We looked at many furniture stores - Janet was the reason we purchased at Norwood. She took a personal interest in our needs and spent many hours helping us make decisions. We ended up purchasing quite a bit more furniture than we originally planned - partially because Janet got us excited about the possibilities of our home. All Norwood stuff - management, other associates and delivery people were equally friendly and helpful. We will certainly recommend Norwood to our friends.

Walking into Norwood Furniture, my wife and I were warmly welcomed by Robin and Janet Baker, two extremely positive professionals. We had previously shopped at other furniture companies, which held no comparison to Norwood's quality of workmanship and professionalism of services. Janet committed over three hours listening to our furniture needs.

First, Janet shows us numerous pieces of furniture to help us determine our likes and dislike. Using this information, she brought out a large magnet board, sketched our living room, and revealed the finished look. Janet continued computing the dimension and showing us how each piece could work in the room. These efforts ensured the pieces of furniture would fit comfortably. Janet's work make the shopping experience relaxing and stress free.

Janet did not stop at this point, but instructed Corey, another employee, to move a large 42" x 42" center table from one side of the store to the other in front of the leather sofa we were looking at purchasing. This gave us more of a visual idea of how the pieces would look in our home. Janet added two end tables and a matching leather recliner to complete our possible room. Janet's professional advice and superior service made the entire shopping experience delightful. We purchased the large coffee table, two end pieces, leather recliner, and large leather sectional sofa set. Our positive experience with Janet lacked the pressure of purchasing pieces that were too expensive or not our style.

Hello Todd, I would like to take this opportunity to compliment one of your designers, Kevin Moore. A little over a year ago I was in the process of purchasing a new home in the Gilbert area and came to Norwood furniture to get some decorating ideas and look at your furniture selection. Kevin assisted me in selecting several pieces of furniture for different rooms in my home. He was very willing to take the time to work with my need for quality products and a fixed budget. After helping me determine a style and a price point that I could afford, Kevin looked through countless vendor books to find just the right furniture. I purchased a sofa, ottoman, kitchen table and chairs, bed frame and mattress at your store and have been pleased with the quality of all of my items. I have received many compliments on the furniture and plan to visit Norwood again when I look for new living room furniture. I will make a point of asking for Kevin when visiting your store.

Dear Mr. Brundrette, I just wanted to write a note of commendation about Kevin Moore. He sold a bed to me last Fall. It took me several trips to the store to decide, as I'd had neck surgeries and an on-going bad lower back. He was so patient. I never got the feeling he was thinking I was a tedious buyer. He was always humorous, kind AND INFORMATIVE.

I really feel I made the right choice because of him. Last Nov. I had lower back surgery and the bed was a blessing for recovery. I don't have much of any problems now but still love the bed.

And if I need anything else, I will be in to see Kevin. Most of my home was furnished by a designer at W & J Sloanes before they went out of business in CA. So it is a pleasure to find your lovely store here.

I can't say enough about the service that I received from Janet Livingston. We moved to Gilbert and needed all new living room furniture. Janet helped me figure out what pieces of furniture would look best and fit well. She then helped me pick the styles, patterns, and colors of furniture -- She even helped me pick out my paint color and draperies. Janet went out of her way to help me. Todd, just wanted to let you know how impressed we are with your store.  Thankfully, it came recommended to us and as soon as we walked in, we knew we were in the right place.  Right off, we could see quality and could have taken any of the peices home.  We were introduced to Kevin, who proved invaluable in our search for furnishing our new Arizona room.  We happened to come in near closing time.  We quickly told Kevin what we were looking for and scheduled an appointment with him for the following day, his day off!

The following day when we arrived, Kevin took us into a room where he had carefully prepared and laid out samples for us to look at.  He had also done his homework the night before, sketching out our room and the furniture needed.  We needed to further look in catalogues and what impressed my husband, Ray and I was that Kevin knew exactly what books to look in to find what were looking for.  He was ever so patient with us.  We were never rushed, and we left thinking that what we thought was going to be an insurmountable task wasn't so overwhelming after all!  We had to return home to Canada shortly after that, and still, Kevin continued to email us, answering any concerns we had.

This is the fourth renovation we have been through during or married years.  We have never, ever, dealt with any sales person, be it with furniture or not, that was so prepared and such a treat to deal with.  Kevin is a real gem, and certainly an attribute to your sales staff.

 with that chaise that she didn't want to go to work that day.  She just
